Eligibility

To become a member of IIAT, an agency must be truly independent. Meaning, you are free to write business with any insurance company.

If your agency meets these criteria, we would love to help your agency!

1. You have Texas general lines or limited lines property and casualty or general lines life and health license

2. You operate on a commission basis and as an independent contractor

3. You have, by contract with insurance companies, ownership of agency accounts and policy expirations

4. You subscribe to IIAT's bylaws

Dues

The Agency membership year is September 1 - August 31. The total staff size in your agency and month you join will determine your dues. Include all full-time employees and owners/shareholders at all locations. We will be happy to accept your membership payment after your application is approved.
